The NAM’s Tax & Domestic Economic Policy Department represents the interests of manufacturers on a wide range of tax policy issues including broad-based issues like technology, tax rates, fundamental tax reform, and international tax simplification to more specific issues like the R&D tax credit, the corporate alternative minimum tax and enhanced capital cost recovery. The department also works on small business tax issues including estate tax repeal and taxation of S-corporations as well as pension and corporate finance issues.
